Project Background
The owners purchased a neglected lake cabin with an unpermitted waterfront deck and failing stair system. The existing structures were unsafe, not up to code, and beyond repair. Everything needed to be removed and rebuilt correctly.
Scope of Work
We partnered with the new owners to redesign the cliffside decks and stairs to meet current building codes while keeping the project within budget. After the old structures were removed and new footing holes were dug through rocky terrain, we formed and poured all new concrete footings. To move materials down the steep 100 foot hillside, we built a temporary material tram system to safely transport supplies to the work area.
The new decks and stairs create safe, functional access to the waterfront while maximizing usable outdoor space. The structures are fully code compliant, durable, and designed for long term performance. The homeowners now have a secure and beautiful lakeside setup built to last.
